A simple reflection

The dynamics between men and women present an interesting case...

In what ways do we women attempt to define ourselves by a man? Are we accepted, loved, cherished.... because a man says we are? Have we been rooted in the love of our heavenly Father, our Savior, the Lover of our Soul-- whose love knows no end. He knit us together in our mother's womb. He knows our thoughts before we think them and our words before we speak them. He knows when we arise and when we lie down. Do we know His desire for us; do we know He cherishes us? There is no sweeter love than His and no other will satisfy. Let us be satisfied in you, Lord.

Beginnings

I am grateful for beginnings and endings... seasons and changes ... anticipation and uncertainty. With each of them, there is Hope and hope does not disappoint. So, here too-- a beginning. A new season... Hope.

"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." (Romans 5:5)
